The first release of the series On the Trails of Wildlife, reissued in 2021, is dedicated to the Moose. The motive depicts an adult Moose at a crystal blue lake in front of a mountain panorama. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue and the denomination “5 DOLLARS”. Moose prefer the colder regions of the earth and are mainly found in northern Europe, North America and northern Asia. Males are particularly recognizable by their antlers, which can reach a stately span of up to 2 meters. With a shoulder height of over 2 meters, moose are the largest deer species in the world. The Maple Leaf Moose silver coin in color is delivered in a protective capsule including an illustrated product card.
