On a canvas of 165x125mm, a new minting technique called “Tri-metal” was applied to give this piece its remarkable weight while keeping its proportions true to the actual painting. This is made possible by combining 750g of 999 fine Zinc as a center layer and 120g of 999 fine copper as a base with a top layer of 2.5 oz of 999 fine silver, resulting in a high relief. This is a limited edition of 399 pieces only. The Red Vineyard at Arles” is a renown, post-impression art created by Vincent van Gogh in 1888. Similarly to many of his masterpieces, this painting features a rich and vibrant use of colour palette with swirling brushwork, contributing to the warmth and intensity of the scene. The scene depicts the Red Vineyard in Arles, a town in the south of France where van Gogh lived for a period while escaping from the industrialised cities of the North. The painting depicts a scene of laborers harvesting grapes in the vineyard, and it captures the essence of rural life and labor in the vineyards of the region. This theme of labor in the vineyard is a recurring motif in van Gogh’s work, reflecting his interest in depicting the life of the common people. Overall, this artwork is a representation of van Gogh’s deep connection to the land, his reverence for nature, and his celebration of the beauty found in the ordinary and the labor of everyday life. It is a testament of van Gogh’s artistic vision and showcase his desire to capture the essence of the world around him.
