TATOOINE – STAR WARS WORLDS – 2019 5g Silver Foil – Niue – NZ Mint
This first unique 5g pure silver coin note in the Star Wars Worlds Coin Note Collection depicts Luke Skywalker TM’s home planet, Tatooine TM. The design features the planet Tatooine with a landscape view of Luke Skywalker’s home in the background, cleverly incorporating both colour and engraving to allow the silver to shine.
The obverse of the note is designed to look like a postcard and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It is legal tender in Niue.
The coin note sits within a unique holder, which stands up to allow for easy display. Inside the holder is an iconic image of Luke Skywalker to enhance its appeal. This, in turn, is packaged inside a high-quality, Star Wars themed box – creating a stunning collectible.
Officially licensed, these are a limited edition with only 10,000 coin notes available worldwide. Each note has a unique serial number printed on it to confirm its authenticity. A very special, and affordable, precious metal collectible for Star Wars fans.
Coin Story
A harsh desert world orbiting twin suns in the galaxy’s Outer Rim, TatooineTM is a lawless place ruled by Hutt TM gangsters. Many settlers scratch out a living on moisture farms, while spaceport cities such as Mos Eisley TM and Mos Espa TM serve as home base for smugglers, criminals, and other rogues.
