SUN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM MAPLE LEAF – 2022 1 oz Pure Silver Color Coin In Capsule
The first issue in the new series “Our Solar System” is dedicated to the Sun. The coin was struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver and depicts the shining dwarf star in the colors yellow and orange. On the right edge of the coin, the planet Earth is depicted. Also included are the inscriptions “CANADA” and “FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR”. The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue and the denomination “5 DOLLARS”. The sun is a nearly perfect sphere of hot plasma at the center of our solar system. Temperatures of around 5700 degrees Celsius prevail on its surface, from which light and heat stream into space. The sun’s diameter is about 1.39 million kilometers. Through its course in the sky, the sun divides the day and the year, making it revered by solar cultures since prehistoric times. The sun is the most important star for the earth and it’s organisms. The Our Solar System – Sun Maple Leaf coin in color is delivered in a protective capsule including an illustrated product card.
