n the Winter Launch earlier this year, we released the 3rd issue of our successful Real Heroes series with which we honor those that serve in the military special forces units.
Such a special topic deserves some limited, exclusive editions. In addition to the sold-out silver issue, CIT is proud to release the soldier in three extraordinary elite versions. Featured are a 1 oz Gold, 1 oz Platinum, a large 5 oz Gold edition that is done in Black Proof and a 1 kg silver version. The 1 oz Gold and Platinum are limited to 199. The kilo has a mintage of 99 pcs. and the 5 oz Gold is limited to only 29.
The ultra-high relief of the designs extends all the way to the edges and sets against a background of a honeycomb pattern and the Real Heroes logo. Just beside on the rim you can find the traditional motto of the special forces «de oppresso liber» in micro minting. The 1 oz Gold and Platinum show the same high relief design as the original Silver with a sophisticated coloring to create a stunningly realistic impression. The 5 oz Gold is done in Black Proof with the goggles left in the original gold finish to allow for an impressive contrast to the Black Proof surface. The obverse shows special forces being dropped in under the cover of night with the primal understanding that ‘Only the Brave are free‘.
