This unique pure silver coin note in the Hogwarts House Banner Collection depicts the house of Slytherin. The design features coloured and engraved images synonymous with the house including its mascot the serpent, symbolising cunning and ambition, and Salazar’s locket.
This legal tender note is minted from 5 grams of pure silver and has the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. It’s packaged inside a themed box with details of the coin note’s authenticity and is presented in an acrylic capsule so you can display it easily and prominently.
Officially licensed by Warner Brothers, this is a limited edition with only 10,000 available worldwide. The note has its unique serial number printed on it to confirm its authenticity. A truly stunning silver collectible.
STORY
Hogwarts was founded by four powerful wizards: Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff. Students are split into four ‘houses’ bearing the wizards’ surnames. Each wizard valued different qualities in their students, so a magical Sorting Hat is used every year to allocate each new entrant to their correct house.
Slytherin house values ambition, cunning and resourcefulness and was founded by Salazar Slytherin. Its emblematic animal is the serpent, and its colours are emerald green and silver.
