Featuring Slimer the first ghost captured by the Ghostbusters in the hit film from 1984, Ghostbusters™. This official licensed product will be hugely popular with fans and collectors alike.Slimer was made up of ectoplasm and lived on the twelfth floor of the Sedgewick Hotel in Manhattan. A rotund, green blob prone to eating everything in sight, he leaves a trail of slime in his wake.
Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Ghostbusters™ – Slimer 2017 1oz Silver Coin.
DESIGN
The reverse of the coin depicts Slimer being pulled into a ghost trap as he appeared in Ghostbusters™. The design also includes the inscription GHOSTBUSTERS.
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2017 year-date and the monetary denomination on its obverse.
PRESENTATION
Each coin is presented in a Ghostbusters™ themed glow in the dark display case and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
