Suave and mischievous, it’s no mystery that the Pink Panther is one of the world’s most iconic cartoon characters.
First seen as an introductory animation in the classic 1964 comedy-mystery film of the same name, the fun-loving panther is loved by people of all generations as a symbol of humour and fun.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu. The Perth Mint will release no more than 25,000 of Pink Panther 60th Anniversary 2024 1oz Silver Bullion Coin.
DESIGN
The coin portrays the Pink Panther standing nonchalantly with his thumbs up alongside the official ‘60 Years’ celebration logo. Also included in the design is an array of paw prints. The obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign. Also included on the obverse are the weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2024 year-date.
PRESENTATION
The coin is housed in a protective acrylic capsule. Orders of 20 will come shrink wrapped directly from the mint.
