This 2 Oz Silver coin is part of the Gods series, dedicated to Dionysus, the god of wine-making, orchards, fruit, vegetation, fertility, festivity and ritual madness. The coin has a selective Gold plating, an Antique Finish quality and comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage to 500 pcs worldwide. The reverse of the coin depicts the wonderful image of Dionysus, in the act of lying down while enjoying fresh grapes, tasting good wine, in an atmosphere of festivity and banqueting. On the outer rim of the reverse, the inscription: DIONYSUS – the name of the god and on the upper part also the inscription: GODS – the name of the series. The obverse of the coin features the Effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: ELIZABETH II – the name of the Queen, NIUE ISLAND – the country of issue, 2022 – the year of issue and TWO DOLLARS – the face value.
