This fabulous Disney Muppets 1oz Silver Coin shows Miss Piggy coloured and engraved in numerous diva poses – including one embracing her beloved Kermie! The addition of the Muppets logo completes the design. The coin is legal tender in Niue with the obverse featuring the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Packaged in an acrylic block, the coin fits snugly inside its Muppet-themed packaging, featuring a headshot of the diva herself. The uniquely numbered Certificate of Authenticity is also found inside the packaging, which confirms it as a limited-edition coin with a worldwide mintage of only 10,000.

Coin Story
Miss Piggy first appeared on The Muppet Show in 1976. Though she began as a relatively minor character, she quickly achieved star status on the series. A humanlike pig with blue eyes, blond hair, a formidable ego, and a forceful will, she pursued with equal determination a life of fame and the love of her costar Kermit the Frog—who at times seemed to share her feelings, though he never matched her intensity and sometimes appeared frightened of her fierce nature!
The most well-known of Miss Piggy’s Muppet Show segments include “Pigs in Space,” a Star Trek parody, and “Veterinarian’s Hospital,” which poked fun at medical soap operas. She also starred in all The Muppet films.
