First off, I like the "Ancient Myths" genre that this coin series will depict.
The first release in this series, the Trojan Horse is a superb coin. This 2nd issue, the Minotaur coin also has a fantastic design as well. It's nice that both sides of these coins have excellent artwork, and that there is no full sized Queen portrait taking up all the area of one side of the coin as so many modern collectables do. This series has shrunk down the Queen's effigy to accommodate the artwork, and good artwork it is.
Overall, I like this Minotaur coin slightly more than the Trojan Horse coin because of the added brass ball attachment. The wood shield shows and fits well on the Trojan Horse coin, but I feel the brass ball really adds more to the Minotaur story. 5 star ratings are not my norm, but this coin deserves it !
