MILKY WAY THE UNIVERSE MAPLE LEAF 2023 1 oz Pure Silver Color Coin In Capsule
The fourth issue in the new series “The Universe” is dedicated to the Big Bang. The coin was struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver and features a depiction of the Milky Way and a satellite in color. Also included are the inscriptions “CANADA” and “FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR”. The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue, the dates “1952-2022” and the denomination “5 DOLLARS”.
The Milky Way is one of trillions of galaxies and is the galaxy that is home to our solar system with planet Earth. The spiral galaxy, which appears to the observer like a milky band in the night sky, consists of an estimated 100 to 400 billion stars and is about 13.6 billion years old. The “The Universe – Milky Way coin in color” is delivered in a protective capsule including an illustrated product card.
