The Brave Little Tailor (1938) was one of the most elaborate and expensive Mickey Mouse cartoons ever made and was nominated for an Academy Award in 1939. The Disney film, originally based on the Grimm fairy-tale, is set in a medieval setting and tells the story of Mickey Mouse, a tailor from humble origins, who defeats a giant and wins Princess Minnie’s hand.
This pure silver engraved coin features a classic image of Mickey Mouse leaving town to defeat the giant in Brave Little Tailor. The artwork of Mickey Mouse is featured in full colour against an engraved background.
