Product Description
LUNAR LOTUS – YEAR OF THE ROOSTER – 2017 $15 Fine Silver Coin
According to the Chinese zodiac, the year 2017 is ruled by the Rooster. The Rooster loves to be the centre of attention; witty and self-assured, he can talk about anything! A natural performer, he does amazingly well in any career that puts him in the public eye. The Rooster is astute, organized and decisive—put him in charge, and your life and finances will run like clockwork! This scallop-shaped coin commemorates 2017 as the Lunar Year of the Rooster, and celebrates all who are born under its sign.

DESIGN
The reverse design by Three Degrees Creative Group commemorates 2017 as the Year of the Rooster with an intricate side profile view of its animal representative. Detailed engraving recreates the rooster’s feathered appearance and captures the essence of the animal’s character: observant, resourceful and self-assured. Other elements associated with this sign are artfully incorporated into the design—including the outline of five gladiolus flowers, which also represent the Rooster’s lucky number, “5.” The reverse also features the engraved Chinese character for “rooster”.
