LITECOIN CRYPTO ICON – 1 oz .999 Pure Silver Antiqued Round- Anonymous Mint

The obverse of this one ounce .999 fine silver round is designed to commemorate the Litecoin. A large L appears in the center of the round while the text on the perimeter reads Peer-to- Peer – In Digital Currency We Trust. The Litecoin is a peer-to- peer cryptocurrency, enabling instant/near-zero cost payments. Litecoin is an open source, global payment network which is decentralized, not managed by any central authority and based on blockchain technology. While inspired by the Bitcoin, the Litecoin allows transactions to process faster with a quicker transaction confirmation and lower transaction fees. Litecoin was released in October 2011 by former Google employee Charlie Lee.

The reverse of the round is called Crypto Icon. Featured on the reverse is a grouping of icons relating to cryptocurrency. Included in the design are icons representing digital currency, mining, e-commerce, security and peer-to- peer payments. Some of the icons portrayed are the cloud, piggybank, pickaxe, shopping cart and moneybag to name a few.
