The Royal Mint honors the legacy of the James Bond franchise with the release of a Six Decades of 007 coin in 2024. The 1 oz silver share a reverse design showcasing one of Bond’s more famous gadgets from the feature film franchise.

Daniel Craig became the sixth actor to play James Bond, debuting in “Casino Royale” (2006). His portrayal emphasized a grittier, realistic, and emotionally complex Bond, with films like “Skyfall” and “Spectre.”
The obverse of the 2024 British Silver Six Decades of 007 Coin comes with a depiction of King Charles III. This is the first-ever portrait of His Majesty and was designed in 2022 by Martin Jennings. This left-profile relief lacks a crown on the King’s head.
On the reverse side of 2024 1 oz Silver Six Decades of 007 Coins, you will find an image of the Little Nellie helicopter. Bond characters in the feature films were known for a slew of unique gadgets and vehicles. Little Nellie appeared in You Only Live Twice and is based on the 1960s-era British-made autogyro.
