STORY
The death adder is a highly venomous snake native to Australia. The death adder has a broad, flattened, triangular head and a thick body with bands of red, brown and black with a grey, cream or pink belly. They have the longest fangs of any Australian snake.
DESIGN
The coin’s reverse features a death adder in colour in the outback. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIA’S DEATH ADDER.
