DESIGN
The coin’s reverse depicts a pair of white and black cranes surrounded by cherry blossoms.Both cranes have their wings outstretched in front of a stylised representation of mist.The design includes the Chinese character for double happiness and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, the coin’s weight and fineness and the 2019 year-date are shown on the coin’s obverse.
PRESENTATION
The coin is presented in an intricately designed presentation card including a pocket to hold money, representing a traditional Chinese red packet.
