Features of the silver cube:
The silver cube features a Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) Antiqued finish.
Each Panda silver cube comes with a Deluxe Display Case which includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a hand-signed letter from the designer.
Each medal is a cube, which struck in 1 Kilo of .999 fine silver.
Very low mintage: This medal has a low and lucky 888 unit mintage. The medal was struck to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the March 11, 1869 “discovery” of the Giant Panda by Western Zoologists.
One side of this issue features the Taoist Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, the same building featured on the Chinese Panda coin obverses. Chinese Mint designer Tong Fang has reimagined the first Silver, Gold, Platinum and Palladium Panda designs–each rendered in more nuanced detail than their original strikes. She has also contributed a stunning new, fifth panda design for the sixth side of the cube.
