As the Royal Canadian Mint’s flagship offering, Silver Maple Leaf coins are often produced in commemorative or limited mintage editions. The RCM has launched a brand new privy, which will feature the Bigfoot design.
Bigfoot has long featured in North American forest lore. The Native Americans that inhabit the Pacific Northwest have numerous stories that feature a “Wild Man”; these stories and infrequent and unexplainable sightings have perpetuated Bigfoot lore through time. Though the greatest concentration of sightings is in the Pacific Northwest of North America, anecdotal evidence suggests that Bigfoot may actually be distributed across Canada and the United States.
