In 2020 the science fiction classic about the time travel of the mad scientist Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown and the young Marty McFly celebrates its 35th anniversary. To this special occasion this low mintage coin struck from 1/4 ounce 99.9% gold is issued.
Design
The motive features the legendary DeLorian, which is converted into a time machine in the film. In addition, the official “BACK TO THE FUTURE™” anniversary logo is depicted.
The reverse shows the Jody Clark portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II”, “NIUE”, the year of issue “2020” and the denomination “25 DOLLARS”.
