More About the Wombat
One of Australia’s most beloved animals, the Wombat is a marsupial native to Australia that has adapted to the various challenging landscapes found in the land down under.
A unique characteristic of the Wombat is it’s distinct evolutionary backward pouch, which allows protection for its carried youth when digging through it’s natural habitat of burrow systems underground.

- Reverse design: portrays the Wombat in it’s burrow. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the weight and fineness and the 2021 year-date also appear in the design
- Obverse design: bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
- The Australian Wombat 2021 1oz Silver Bullion Coin is presented in an acrylic capsule and comes sealed in rolls of 20 in boxes of 100
