Celebrating the 2018 World Money Fair, the Perth Mint has released an exclusive Coin Show Special featuring the 2018 Australian kookaburra design in vivid colour.
Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, and is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,500 of the Australian Kookaburra 2018 1oz Silver Coloured Coin in special World Money Fair 2018 Coin Show packaging.
DESIGN
The coin’s reverse depicts a flying kookaburra in vivid colour against the backdrop of a full moon. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, and the 2018 year-date.
The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are depicted on each coin’s obverse.
PRESENTATION
The coin is housed in a classic grey Perth Mint case within a special World Money Fair 2018 shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
