The powerful Archangel warrior, Michael, forms part of our Archangels Coin Collection.
The reverse of the coin shows a coloured image of Michael from a 1920 stained-glass window by Mary Hutchinson in Hull Minster, UK. The coin is legal tender in Niue with the obverse featuring the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. An intricate engraved border provides a frame for both sides of the coin.
The coin is placed in an acrylic case for easy display. The case is magnetized to allow the coin to be removed. The elegant outer box reflects Michael’s energy colour of blue – representing strength and courage.
A numbered Certificate of Authenticity confirms the mintage of only 2,000, and each coin is a heavenly 1oz of pure silver!
