This fun Disney Muppets 1oz Silver Coin shows the many crazed faces of Animal both engraved and coloured. In the foreground he is shown brandishing a drumstick while wearing his permanent collar and chain. The addition of the Muppets logo completes the design. Packaged in an acrylic block, the coin fits snugly inside its Muppet-themed packaging, featuring a close up of Animal in one of his many violent outbursts!
The coin is legal tender in Niue with the obverse featuring the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The uniquely numbered Certificate of Authenticity is placed inside the packaging, which confirms it as a limited-edition coin with a worldwide mintage of only 10,000.

Coin Story
Animal is the wild, frenzied monster and dynamic drummer best known for his crazy solos in The Muppets’ band Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. He has three styles of music – loud, louder, and deafening! He first appeared in the 1975 pilot, The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence and later became a main character on The Muppet Show – his unrestrained style making him popular with young people for decades. He has had roles in all the Muppet movies. His bushy eyebrows and hair, outrageous behaviour, and wild drumming style can be associated with many hard-partying rock drummers.
He provides the mayhem, destruction and fun! Usually collared and leashed to his drum kit, he’s a little bit dangerous and always ready to rock out with the cry “Beat Drums!”. Clearly an accomplished musician, he’s battled some of the all-time greats including Buddy Rich and Harry Belafonte. So, don’t mistake his guttural blasts and grunts for stupidity. Even though he may have a limited vocabulary, he is clearly a tortured artist.
