Before I bought this coin I didn't have great expectations for it in terms of appearance besides the description "Antique" created an image in my mind of an old worn out coin. Besides I love coins that are shiny. I was mildly surprised when I first saw & held it. Here was a coin that was perfectly struck with no visible defects and an antique finish that highlighted it's bold features. By comparison it seemed like my plain silver Eagle was anemic & lacked that healthy tan! Of course I paid more for the "Antique" but it's a worthy possession for any collector.

Great packaging and excellent keepsake coin!

These US bullion silver eagles are one of the most collected silver coins in the world, but look much better when enhanced with this antique finish.
