Specimen 50% silver $1 coin commemorates Queen Elizabeth II as Her Majesty celebrated the 25th Anniversary of her accession to the throne. The coins design depicts the throne of the Senate of Canada, which is used by the Queen or the Governor General for ceremonial occasions.

Royal Canadian Mint issued Prestige Set comes in black cardboard box with maple leaf, book type with clasp which is damaged. Red satin inside, hinged black plastic 7-hole display, encapsulated coins – coloured flocked jackets. The coins may vary from the picture.
