1975 Calgary Centennial Double Dollar Prestige Set – Royal Canadian Mint
- For the centenary of the founding of Calgary, Alberta, the silver dollar of 1975 bore a special reverse showing a cowboy atop a bucking bronco. Oil wells and a modern city skyline appear in the background.
- A brilliant image relief is struck against a matte or lined background in order to achieve maximum visual impact. Specimen coins are struck up to two times on numismatic presses.
- Sovereign coin backed by the Canadian government.
Packaging
Royal Canadian Mint issued Prestige Set comes in red cardboard box with maple leaf, book type with clasp. Red satin inside, hinged black plastic 7-hole display, encapsulated coins – coloured flocked jackets. Coins may vary from the picture and some might be toned.
