The star of six Bond movies released by EON Productions between 1962 and 1971, Connery’s powerful portrayal established the charismatic operative also known as 007 as one of cinema’s most recognisable characters.
Individual 1oz design
Exclusively available in this collection, the 1oz coin’s reverse portrays a coloured image of Sean Connery leaning on the bonnet of an Aston Martin DB5, Bond’s sleek ‘silver birch’ sports car. Incorporated in the design is the inscription ‘JAMES BOND’, and a 24-carat gilded background featuring the 007 gun logo, and spiral gun barrel graphics from the franchise’s signature opening sequence.
The coin’s gilded obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2024 year-date.
