Design
Your coin, designed by Canadian artist Tony Bianco in consultation with Martin Short, displays the actor’s summer home in Muskoka, northern Ontario: an inviting, beautiful and serene place that embodies the best of Canada for Mr. Short. The design features a sailboat gliding across a serene lake towards a boathouse, as pine and maple trees canopy two Adirondack chairs. Nearby, the Canadian flag proudly waves from a marine-inspired flag pole, which stands on one of the region’s signature whaleback rocks. The reverse is engraved with the word “CANADA,” the date “2013,” and the face value of “3 DOLLARS.”
