DESIGN
The reverse design by Canadian artist Silvia Pecota features full colour over an engraved scene, which is set at an outdoor rink in Manitoba. Beneath the overhead lights, four youths share a love for the game as they continue to play into the evening. In the foreground, one player in red, skates towards the boards to retrieve the puck, while the two other players on the right are still in position from the last attempt to score. The goaltender stands before the net, somewhat relaxed but with eyes trained on the two players closest to the crease. All four players are proudly wearing the blue, white and red colours of their beloved home team; above them is the official logo of the Winnipeg Jets, featuring a fighter jet over a maple leaf and all enclosed in a blue roundel.
