DESIGN
The coin’s reverse depicts a snarling Tyrannosaurus Rex, perhaps the most famous carnivorous dinosaur to ever live. The design includes the inscription ‘T-Rex’, the popular nickname for this prehistoric beast.
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the coin’s obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadly effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the metal weight and purity, and the monetary denomination.
