SPIDER-MAN

Spider-Man is Marvel Comics #1 character. He first appeared in the anthology comic book Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962) in the Silver Age of Comic Books. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko.

Lee and Ditko conceived the character as an orphan being raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, and as a teenager. haing to deal with the normal struggles of adolescence in addition to those of a costumed crime-fighter.

Spider-Man’s creators gave him super strength and agility, the ability to cling to most surfaces, shoot spider-webs using wrist-mounted of his own invention, which he calls “web-shooters”, and react to danger quickly with is “spider-sense”, enabling him to combat his foes.

On the reverse side of the Spider-Man 1 oz Silver Coin you’ll find an image f your favorite web-slinger along with engravings of Spider-Man logo and the mint mark.

The obverse of the 2017 1 oz Spider-Man Silver Coin features the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty’s image was crafted in 1998 by Rank-Broadley, and it represents the fourth generation image of the Queen on commonwealth coinage.

The coins have been struck at Perth Mint.

Orders of 20 come in a sealed shrink wrapped tube, and orders of 100 come in a sealed box.
