DESIGN
The reverse image by Canadian artist Julius Csotonyi features a magnificently detailed winter scene. In a small town nestled among the mountains and snow-covered evergreens, hearts and hearths are warmed by a festive feeling; while residents come together indoors to celebrate, others yet settle into their warm beds for a restful sleep. In the starry night sky above, the town’s amber lights cast a glow as beautifully engraved crystalline snowflakes gently fall to the ground. In the centre of the reverse lies the focus of the design: a stunning glass angel flying high on large white wings, resplendent with a vibrantly coloured blue robe and golden halo. Watching over the sleepy town, this angel presence infuses the scene with a peaceful, tranquil feeling that stirs the imagination with its message of peace, comfort and joy.
