This year marks the fifth anniversary of these impressive proofs—and collectors regard them as key coins in their collection. This one-year-only issue design reveals a ‘roo traversing the outback lit by a full moon. Struck in one ounce of 99.9% silver, he leaps over the date and purity stamped into the surface.

Each 2015 Australia Silver High Relief Kangaroo is real Aussie legal-tender and grades Proof-70 Ultra Cameo (PF70UC) condition and One of First 2,500 First Struck by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). Officially approved by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, her regal effigy graces the obverse.

Each comes in a Perth Mint presentation case with a mint-numbered certificate of authenticity.

The total mintage is strictly limited to only 20,000, so they’re hotter than the outback sun.
