Each year features a new design with an Elephant family traversing the Serengeti. Struck at the Bavarian State Mint in Munich, Germany, these popular Elephant Coins are struck in .999 fine silver, and are legal tender in Somalia for 100 Shillings.
The coins has a colorized reverse that shows the elephant and their surroundings in life-like natural day color!
This is a limited edition coin, with a mintage of 5000 coins only ! “Night” coins are only to be found in the day/night 2-coin set!
